God's Power

Power of The Spoken Word

Ephesians 1:18-20
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.

Devotional
Notice that His incomparable great power is for us who believe. This is vitally important for us to understand. When we begin to be enlightened of this truth simple prayer releases the power of God through simple faith. When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He simply said “Lazarus come forth” and attached faith to the power available from God. The power is for all Christians through the work of the Holy Spirit. Pray and ask God to enlighten the eyes of your heart so you too can know this power that raised Christ from the dead.

In Jesus's Name

Jesus, the Name above All Names

Scripture
John 15:16
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name (Jesus).
John 15:7
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

Devotional
Notice in today’s scriptures the words “then” and “if you”. The bible teaches that whatever we ask in Jesus' name we will receive. It is important to understand that there are conditions to that promise. Please take time to study John 15 to get a better understanding of what is required in order for God to honor our prayer “In the name of Jesus”.

Passion For the Lost

Scripture
Luke 19:10
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

Devotional
Do you have a passion for Christ? If you do then you will have a passion for lost souls. Jesus was and is all about saving souls. We are the channel in which God has chosen to communicate His love and saving power through. Remember that learning to ride a bike took practice and so does learning how to be a witness for Christ. We must become passionate and determined to be a soul winner. Ask God for the passion and then begin to study about witnessing. Here are a few scriptures to get you started.

Romans 10:14,15; Romans 1:16; 2 Peter 3:9; Acts 4:31; Acts 14:3; Acts 19:8 The following web sites offer some great free materials to help get you started

Listening

Mary Listening To Jesus

Scripture
Luke 10:38-42
As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" "Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed, Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

Devotional
This passage is so full of many things to teach but I want to focus on listening to the words of Jesus. When the word of God is being spoken we are to listen as Martha was doing in this story. Regardless of who is sharing the word of God, remember that they are speaking as if Jesus were
speaking Himself.

Life's Journey

Scripture
Mark 10:30
In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers.”

Devotional
Sometimes along life's journey, people often fall into the traps of robbers. By traps, I mean those circumstances that rob from God’s best for our lives. Traps labeled; drug and alcohol addiction, divorce, sickness, and others alike. In God there is freedom. The scripture today comes from the story of The Good Samaritan. Please take time to read it. See if you can think of someone that you know of who maybe has been robbed, who has fallen into a trap on there journey of life. Perhaps you have a friend who comes from a divorced family and is feeling confused and hurt. Maybe someone who likes to drink or do drugs. Can you think of ways that you can reach out to them in love and help to bring them out of the trap they are in? A good place to start would be to let them know you care about them; perhaps invite them to your church or youth group.

Life Saver

Today's scripture
James 5:20
Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Devotional
At the end of my street there is a stop sign that for awhile was not visible because my neighbors’ tree branches were covering its view. Those of us that lived on the street were aware of the danger, but strangers to our street were not. On one occasion, I happened to be at the right place, at the right time and witnessed a near major accident there. I called and complained to the city and eventually, after much effort on my part, another sign was put up to warn people of the upcoming stop sign. After some time the tree was cut down and now the sign is visible from very far away. After the incident the Lord showed me that my passion to save people from eternal death shouldn't be any different than my passion was to save a life at the end of my street. Here are some tough, but necessary, questions I must ask. Who has God placed on your street today that is a stranger to Christianity? Do you make an effort to save an eternal life as you would an earthly life? Do you really believe in Jesus enough to tell some one of the danger that lies ahead?

Keys to God's Kingdom

Door Keepers Keys

Today's scripture
Matthew 16:19 I (Jesus) will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Devotional
God has gifted each of us with talents that were intended to be used for His glory. Has he given you an assignment to carry out? Has he handed you something from heaven such as the ability to write poetry or songs? Maybe God has given you a personality that makes it easy for others to talk to you because they know they can trust you. Perhaps you are good at teaching others, or you play a musical instrument well. God has given each of us some type of gift to be used for His glory. If we do not share our talents with others, then we have “bound” the gift on earth and heaven cannot flow through it. Now, if we use the gift God has given to us or we “loose it” on earth, then all of heaven can be loosed to touch people through the gift. It works like a faucet. The water has no effect until the faucet is turned on, then the water is loosed. As long as it is shut off it is bound. It's the same in the spiritual realm. We are like faucets linked to heaven and heaven is full of living water, ready to supply the earth, but we must make the effort to turn on the faucet so heaven can flow.

Important Things

Things that are important

Today's scripture
John 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Devotional
Find out what is important to Jesus and make those things important to you. Here are some places to start. God desires that none should spend eternity in hell and for us to seek and save the lost. Share Jesus with someone today. You can do that by a simple act of kindness, sharing a smile with someone who looks sad, doing extra chores around the house, being obedient to your parents. All these things when done out of the desire to share God’s love, are ways to make what is important to God important to you. As you seek after the things of God you will see God directing your steps!

Hope

The Future of Hope

Today's scripture
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Devotional
When we get to know God we then have hope in Him. The reality of his presence, and the constant unveiling of His plans for us, strengthens us to put our trust in the truth of this verse. God has a plan and a purpose for each of us. When we seek Him with all our hearts then his plan begins to be seen, usually it is one step at time. If we were following a friend who is walking before us we would follow one step at a time. This is how we also follow the Lord. With every step of obedience to what he tells us to do in his word, we continue walking forward in hope and moving into the future of His destiny for our lives.

Guard your Heart

Your Heart The Spiritual Beat

Proverbs 23: 20-23
My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life.

Devotional
We must maintain good spiritual health. When our heart is in distress, and we are up set, we must do all that we know to do to guard our heart. For God has deposited spiritual truths in our hearts for the purpose of sharing with others. Yes through you God can bring an encouraging word to someone. Start with prayer this gives God the right to help us. The bible says let not your heart be troubled but put your trust in God. Focus on Jesus rather than the troubling situation, as best as we can, this helps guard our heart. He has said He will never leave or forsake us. Communication comes next because wisdom, at times, is found in the council of others. It is good to reason things out sometimes, being careful to not gossip or criticize. Keep a guard on your heart today and protect the call God has placed on your life.

Frustration & Life's Irritations

Today's scripture
I have told you these things, so that in me (Jesus) you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
John 16:33

Devotional
Are you frustrated about many things and sometimes everything. Being a Christian doesn't mean that we will not experience difficult times. God has told us the truth, that at times life will be difficult. He has provided to us a way to overcome these tough times, that way is found in following Jesus' teachings and surrendering our lives to Him. His peace is amazing and His love unmatched you can rest in trusting that He is working all things for the good. Victory through tough times comes by staying connected to other believers, reading Gods word, trusting God, praying, worshiping and staying free from sins hold through forgiveness. If you are troubled today, lift your head up and stand strong on the rock of your saviors love for you. He has promised to never leave you.

Focus

Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith

Devotional
Let’s stay focused on Jesus today and not the negative things that the enemy would desire to have us dwell upon. We are not to give any place to the devil yet we are to be aware of his tactics. Remember that there are more angels on our side than his. Our focus is to be on Christ. We are to exalt who He is and who we are in Him, above every circumstance in life. A good way to know who Jesus is would be to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John several times. It will lay the foundation of who Jesus is.

JOY

Joy of The Lord

Today's scriptures
John 15:10-11 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
John17:13 I (Jesus) say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.

Devotional
The joy of the Lord is a direct result of obeying Gods’ commands, which are discovered by reading Gods’ word. If you desire to have the fullness of joy in your life, look to the bible. Jesus' words were spoken so that we would have the full measure of joy.

God's Love

Scriptures
Romans 8:38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 10: 28-30
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”

Devotional
When we give our lives to God, nothing can separate us from his love and we can never be snatched from his hand.

Salvation the Simple Way

Romans 10:9-10”If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

Salvation by grace, not works

One of the first things a lifeguard has to do is help the victim calm down so he isn’t struggling against the efforts of the one who is trying to save him. Sometimes it take a blow to the head that either knocks the victim out or shocks him out of his panic so he can listen to the lifeguard’s instructions. If the victim struggles, or tries to help, it may endanger both his own life and the lifeguard’s. The best thing he can do is relax and let the expert in life-saving take over.

Jesus did everything needed to purchase our salvation. He paid the death penalty we deserve by dying in our place.

It’s all done except our acceptance of the gift God has so graciously offered us.
You can receive Jesus into your heart right now. It’s so simple, you can hardly believe it. Just talk to God as if he were sitting right next to you. Tell him that you are sorry for breaking his standards of right actions and attitudes. Tell him that you believe Jesus is his Son and that he died for you. Ask him to forgive you and clean up your heart. If you’re sincere as you pray, you become a child of God forever the second you finish praying.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, try sharing Romans 10:8-10 with a friend who doesn’t yet know God. Before sharing, ask God to open your friend’s heart and mind to receive the wonderful gift of salvation. Show him/her right in the Scripture that all he/she has to do to have eternal life is believe and confess.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear Jesus, I thank you that you have made the plan of salvation so simple. I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I do believe that you are the Lord and that God did raise you from the dead. I choose you as my Savior. I love you, Jesus. Amen.

It's God's

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.

Psalm 8:6
You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.

Handle with Care

My sister Lori and I had to share a bedroom when we were girls. Sometimes that was awesome, like when we spent hours on the floor between our twin size beds playing Monopoly. Other days were torture. On the days when the conflict got really bad, we used masking tape or yarn to divide our room in half, with threats of bodily harm to the one who stepped over the other’s boundary. It was quite a challenge to the one who didn’t have access to the door at such times.

You stay on your side of the room, I’ll stay on mine!” Mine. It’s an ugly four-letter word that expresses our sinful, selfish nature. Like two-year-olds playing tug of war with a favorite toy, we scream, “It’s mine!” “No, it’s mine!” “It’s mine!”

Those harsh words are not limited to the tongues of toddlers alone. Haven’t you heard yourself saying, “It’s my life, my body, my rights, my money. . .” and “I want it done my way. It’s all about me!”

Psalm 24:1 tells us, The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. God our Maker says, “It’s all mine!” He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Owner of the whole world. Everything you see – including you and me – belongs to God. It’s all His!

In Psalm 8:6, God in His unbelievable love and generosity invites us to be stewards of all of his belongings. “You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.” Stewardship is a sweet partnership between God, the Creator and Owner of all, and us, his stewards. We get to carefully care for and use all of His belongings. It’s not a right; it’s an incredible privilege. It’s not a miserable duty; it’s a high calling that we must joyfully embrace!

What an incredible gift from God! What has God put into your care? What time, spiritual gifts and abilities has He given to you? What money and possessions has He trusted you with? How are you taking care of His creation? How are you caring for His temple, your mind and body?

Consider what God has placed under your personal stewardship, and then ask this important question: Am I handling all of God’s stuff with care?

Today’s Prayer:

Father God, thank you for all that you have made. You are the Maker of all things! It all belongs to you! Thank you for the incredible gifts you have given to me. Please help me to be a good steward of your time, your money and possessions, your world, your temple as it exists in my mind and body. Help me use the spiritual gifts and abilities You have given me in service to others. Please help me to carefully handle all of your stuff. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

HEAVY Get Help to Lift

Galatians 6:2
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Being a Burden Lifter

You would think I would get the hang of packing for the airlines after a few trips, but it only seems to be moving from bad to worse. After each trip I make mental notes: 1) Do not pack that item again, you didn’t use it anyway. 2) Don’t forget these items, it would have been nice to have them along. The last two trips my suitcase came back to me marked with an orange tag: HEAVY Get Help To Lift.

Now, I knew my suitcase was heavy, but was it really necessary to inform all my fellow travelers standing around the carousel?

Wouldn’t it be helpful if hurting people were as easily identifiable as tagged suitcases? They know their burdens are heavy. Sometimes so heavy they can hardly lift themselves out of bed in the morning. But how can others know they are hurting? Maybe these people, maybe you and I, should begin clearly marking our oppressive days with an orange tag: HEAVY BURDENS Need Help to Lift!

There’s no guesswork in the Bible on if we should help carry each other’s burdens. Galatians 6:2 commands us to do so, Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

The question is how do we obey that command without the use of orange tags identifying those who need help with their heartaches and burdens? Let’s again go to the Bible for God’s Word on burden lifting.

Ask the Holy Spirit to clothe you with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12). Have the attitude of Christ, looking not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others (Philippians 2). Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:1-2).

Would orange tags make it easier to identify the hurting people in your corner of the world? It certainly would. But is it the best option? No, God always provides the best way. Follow God’s commands for burden lifting, imitate Christ’s example in how He reached out to others, and let the Spirit lead and guide as you go about the task you’ve been called to: being a burden lifter for others.

Today’s Prayer:

Father God, thank You for Your word on burden lifting. Please help me to see the burdens that people are carrying. Give me eyes to see where the needs are. Give me ears to hear the cries of hurting people. Give me love that reaches out in compassion and understanding. I want to imitate Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

It is Finished

John1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Devotional:
When Jesus said it is finished, at that very moment there was a new spiritual law established. What John the Baptist had spoken three years prior was established with Jesus' last breath. Now understand this, when there is sin in our life and we confess and turn away from it, we are forgiven. The slate that had your sin written on it is wiped completely clean instantly, “It is finished”.

It Is Finished By Jordy Christo

When He said “IT IS FINISHED" it was done
The lamb who took away the sins of the world is Gods son

No condemnation, no shame left to behold
He demolished sins bondage just as the prophets had foretold

No matter what wrong we have done, God established
"IT IS FINISHED" I love you, this freedom is a gift, you can have it.

The evidence of our sins has been completely washed away
Because of His love for us yesterday and today
and forever.

Power of Christ

Today's scripture
Ephesians 1:18-20 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.

Devotional: Power of The Spoken Word
Notice that His incomparable great power is for us who believe. This is vitally important for us to understand. When we begin to be enlightened of this truth, simple prayer releases the power of God through simple faith.

Filled With Revelation

Today's scripture
John 16:12
I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.

Devotional
There is a place in the realm of the Spirit where the Lord begins to speak clearly and with great revelation. If you have ever had those times when you have been reading your bible and the Holy Spirit, the teacher, is speaking loudly, then you understand our Scripture. The pen in your hand moves faster than ever before as the thoughts concerning the ways of God come clearer than ever before. In an instant, God gives an understanding of His kingdom and an awareness of His presence that is almost more than we can bear. With this type of encounter with the Lord the understanding of what God is communicating is spread out over a great length of time, with little gold nuggets of revelation. We are compelled to go deeper into the Word of God. Our scripture indicates that Jesus has many things to say to us. Open your heart to receive all that God has today and expect great revelation from Him!

Created to Worship

Psalm 29:2
Ascribe (give) to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. (NIV)
Bravo, God, bravo! Gods and all angels shout, "Encore!" In awe before the glory, in awe before God's visible power. Stand at attention! Dress your best to honor him! (the message)

Have you ever wondered why God created crickets? Quite frankly it’s never been on my top 10 list of things to question until last night at 2 a.m. Unable to sleep through the uninterrupted chirping, I searched for the cricket that had full intention of pulling an all-nighter in my home. He had picked the wrong house for a nocturnal concert.

I’m assuming God had any number of good reasons to create crickets. Although, I’d be hard pressed to come up with a list on four hours of sleep.

When it comes to the purpose of God’s creating people, however, there’s nothing to question – no reason to wonder. God created us to worship him. He created us to give him praise for who heis and for all of the wonderful things he has done. He created us to delight in him and enjoy him forever.

Psalm 29:2 says, Ascribe (give) to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

As we pray and read the Bible, sing his praises and tell people about Jesus – all should be expressions of our worship. But that’s only a part of how we worship God. Our work, our play, our decisions, our family life and friendships, our homework, our after-school activities, our thoughts, words, and actions, our joy and our pain – each should be offered as worship to our God.

Worship is not a luxury or an option or even our Christian duty. Worship is what we were created to do! It is our purpose in living. It is the reason we breathe. May we be as relentless as crickets in our desire to delight in and worship God today and throughout eternity.

Today’s Prayer:

Jesus, all praise and glory be given to your name! May I always give you the fame you deserve. Thank You for who you are and for all that you have done for me. Show me how everything I do, say, and think can be an act of worship to you. Thank you for creating me to worship you! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Faith

Scripture
Matthew 9:2 When Jesus saw their faith

Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith”!

Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith.

Luke 2:20 When Jesus saw their faith.

Mark 11:22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered.

Devotional
When we read about the miracles that Jesus performed we will see very simple gestures and spoken words with unwavering faith attached to them. I have not found a place where Jesus went on and on with lengthy prayers for someone to be healed or delivered from an evil spirit. No, he either touched them or spoke a few words and the healing took place. God is present to meet our every need, and He is looking for OUR faith to combine HIS love with to grant our desires. There is much to be taught on faith, however, just keep it simple. Read the bible everyday, trust God, pray and
believe.

Encouragement

Today's scriptures

1Thessalonians 1:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 1:14
And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.

Romans 12:8
(Gifts) if it is encouraging, let him encourage

Devotional
How awesome it is when people encourage us and help with the vision God has entrusted us with. The bible specifically says that encouraging others possibly may be your God given gift. You are not alone, is a powerful statement when spoken through our actions. I am sure that runners run faster and swimmers swim harder when they hear the cheering of the one who is encouraging them to reach the finish line. Join in and help someone today accomplish more of their vision. Give a smile, a hug, a complement, a phone call, an e-mail or send a card in the mail, just to let someone know that you care about them. Love one another!

Don't wait any longer

Today's scripture
Philippians 3:12 -14 This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Don't wait By: Jordy Christo

Has God put desires inside of you for his kingdom?

Move forward one step at a time.

Take the task He has given you,

Do something today, even if you only write a rhyme.

There are so many ways in this life, to touch the broken hearted.

If our thoughts do not become actions, then we never really get started,

So keep pressing toward those things that God is calling you to.

If you are unsure, here is what you can do

Read your bible, worship, spend a lot of time with Jesus and pray

This is how to begin your best step today.

House of Prayer

Matthew 21:13
And said unto them, it is written, my house shall be called the house of prayer;

Devotional-Prayer In Church
Our churches are known as the House of God( Wikipedia partial definition. people who share a particular belief system), one thing I always do when I go into God’s house is, I seek to find an intimate place of prayer with the Lord. I do this wherever it is that I have chosen to sit that day.

By closing my eyes, not concentrating on anyone else around me, I just focus in on the Lord, I pour my heart out to Him and he listens and often times he speaks to me as well. I also call my home where I live, my fathers’ house of prayer, and daily I pray there as well.

Thank You Jesus

Scripture
1Timothy 1:12
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him,

Devotional
Recently, I had the privilege of working with a dear lady, who would say “Thank you Jesus” often. I began to notice that she actually was talking, as if Jesus were listening and right beside her. Such sincerity, gratitude and genuine thankfulness was expressed by her, that I began to realize she had much to be thankful for. It was if she was acknowledging that God was responsible for all the good things, just as the bible says, every good and perfect gift comes down from the father of lights. Because of what I learned from this lady, I have started to express my thankfulness to God by saying “thank you Jesus” periodically through out my day. I have so many troubling things to focus on, BUT by focusing on the things I am thankful for, I am recalling Gods faithfulness over the past several years that I have been staying close to Him. With every trial there is a victory to be won. “Thank you Jesus” that I am on the winning team and you, my Lord, are working all things for the good!

What if We Argued Christ

Today's scripture

Acts19:8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.

Devotional
Take a moment to think about the people you interact with daily. What if: when you said good bye to them on the phone, through your email, or in person today, that would be the last good bye you would ever say to them, where would they spend eternity? No matter what someone believes, whether Hindu, Atheist, Islamic or any other religion, our message never changes. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life”. “No one comes to the Father except through me.” Just speaking that verse alone into someones life is allowing the Holy Spirit accessibility to their spirit. God then will draw them by the power of his Holy Spirit. What if we followed Paul's’ example in our scripture text?

Guardian Angels

Today's scripture

Psa 91:9 -11 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.

Devotion

For those of us who dwell in the Lord, the angels are commanded to guard us. Angel sightings can still happen. Jesus referred to angels often. When he was tempted by the devil in the desert he quoted our scripture verse. When the devil departed from him, angels came to Jesus and strengthened him. Angels were sent to help the disciples on several occasions (see acts 12). Be aware today of this truth, angels are present with you.

We are Christ beloved. We want to bless people through this blog by our experiences and how God has work through us. "don't be belittered because you are young but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct,in love,in spirit,in faith and in purity. 1 TIMOTHY 4:12 our aim : We who are strong ought to bear with the failing of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good,to build him up. ROMANS 15:1-2
