Walk with Him to the Ends of the Earth

What does it mean by walking with Him to the ends of the earth? Dying..?? Following Christ..?? Obedience..?? It can mean anything to anyone... But to me, i think it's a journey we have to walk for in Christ..to glorify Him and trying to live our lives reflecting Him..

A Harvest From Sowing Seeds

Today's scriptures
John 4:37-38
Thus the saying 'One sows and another reaps' is true. “I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."

Devotional
The only way to have a beautiful garden of flowers is to prepare the soil, plant the seeds, water them tenderly and lovingly care for them. We are responsible to plant the seeds of Gods love into the lives of unbelievers so that there will be a harvest of souls to reap. In order for there to be a continuing harvest there must be a continual planting. Some people are easy to witness to; this can be compared to moist prepared soil and others are more difficult, which would compare to the harder ground that requires more effort to plant the seed into. My prayer is that throughout the city, there will be a great sowing of good seeds. My intention is to let it begin with me today. Think about what types of seeds are sitting in your hands, and how can they be sown into people’s lives. Here are some hints, tracts, music CD's, and serving others. Remember too, that there are false teachers sowing weeds, we must do our part to sow the truth of God’s word.

Last year, we found a dead decaying animal in our Chapel . . .

our teacher thought us how to clean it . . .

. . . the RIGHT way . . . =)

1st . . . pour some water . . .

Then, pour some soup powder on the stain decayed part . . . hahaha . . .

and start scrubbing . . .

. . . and all are learning . . . (i think Amanda is taking notes)

The Future

The future Revealed

Today's scripture
Luke 22:10-13
He replied, "As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' He will show you a large upper room, all furnished. Make preparations there." They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.

Devotional
Here we see that Jesus knows what is in our future and He is able to reveal it to us. In the gospel of John, Jesus tells us that He will send the Holy Spirit and He will reveal to us things to come. It's true, seek God in prayer and you shall find divine direction for your life. Hunger and thirst for righteousness and you shall be filled. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Clear direction from the Lord is the result off seeking after His will for our lives with a sincere heart.

Worship, the Key to Victory

Today's Scripture

Matthew 6:10

Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Revelations 7:11-12

They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"

Devotional
God wants things on earth to be as they are in heaven. In heaven, worship is always surrounding the throne of God. True worship will require a commitment of time. Time spent with just you seeking after God. Could you spend an entire day or night diligently seeking God? Worship is more than just singing a song it becomes a life style. All that you do and all that you say is to glorify God. Get before God and declare that he is the Lord of your life, and that you are nothing without him. When you find yourself face to face with God, in this place of glory, you will realize that to be in the presence of God is a wonderful place to be. All of the cares of this life become unimportant and disappear in the beauty of our Lord. The only thing that matters is expressing love to the Lord. Commit to find this place of deep intimacy with God, hunger and thirst for it. Tell Him that you want to find this place of true worship. Remember this deep intimacy with the Lord will require a sacrifice of time and total surrender to Him.

She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed, Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

There seems to be times when we are aware that the Lord’s presence is so near to us. It is at these times when we need to let all the cares and concerns of the day be put to the side. Then we purpose at that moment, to stay with Jesus without a deadline of time.

Prayer is Gods hotline against rejection

Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven.”

1 Peter 4:14
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

Devotional
Rejection is a winning situation in Gods eyes, when we are rejected for telling people about Christ. We have to get tough as Christians and realize that as painful as rejection is and as much as we want to be accepted by everyone, people will reject the message of Christ that we speak. So get over the fear, accept the fact, AND TELL SOMEONE ABOUT CHRIST! They are rejecting Jesus, not you! God has rewards for you according to the scriptures; there are no Losers in this battle for souls.

When we are seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness first in our lives, then the things we desire are directly related to his kingdom. Therefore, God is willing to supply our every need to accomplish his purpose through our life. God is saying whatever you need daughter or son to do my work; I will supply you with it.
